Role Overview & Responsibilities
Adecco are currently looking for a Traffic Marshall to work for our client in Bolton
Duties
- Managing daily delivery & collection schedules
- Liaising with Warehouse, logistics, traffic departments and delivery drivers
- Observing vehicles and loads
- Ensuring paperwork is completed by drivers
- Sourcing alternative transport in the event of failed collections
- Contacting traffic/account managers to chase late collections and sourcing alternative transport in the event of a failed collection.
- Tracking, booking, cancelling, amending deliveries
- Monitor and record the loading capacity of parcel carrier collections.
Skills/knowledge:
- Previous 'Banksman' experience is desirable
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate
Additional Information
Job Type: Temporary-Permanent
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6am-2pm OR 2pm-10pm
Salary: £10.61ph-£11.61ph
